Kevin Brooks

Kevin graduated from the Robert O. Anderson School of Business at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque New Mexico in 1983. Upon graduating from UNM, he began his career at Gordon, Hughes, and Banks, a CPA firm located in Grand Junction Colorado. He attained his Certified Public Accounting designation in 1985.

In 1989 he became the controller for a local franchise operation, Big O Tires, a tire and service retailer. In 1996 he purchased 2 of 4 Big O Tire units from the owners, then two years later purchased the other two. From 1998 until 2012 he purchased 4 more units and built an additional unit with a strategy to own market share of the entire western region of Colorado. He sold these 9 Big O Tire Stores in 2015 with the assistance of a business broker.

Intrigued by the process, he decided to dedicate his time to assist other business owners to transition from ownership. Kevin’s extensive background in accounting and business ownership as well as his entrepreneurial spirit bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to business brokering.

He is a member of the International Business Brokers Association. He is a Certified Business Intermediary and Certified M&A Professional.
