Phil Holt

Phil Holt, MBA, CBI, LCBB, CMSBB, CMMBI, has more than 50 years of experience in selling, buying, owning and operating small and mid-sized businesses. In addition to mergers and acquisitions advisory services, he has direct operational experience extending through wireless communications, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, commercial deep-sea diving, construction contracting, commercial fishing, and commercial real estate development.

His breadth of experience across the country and worldwide, both strategic and hands-on, in operations and finance, has given him a keen perspective on challenges and opportunities faced by business owners in seeking to convert the equity in their companies into cash and other investments.

He is a long-time member of the M&A Source, the International Business Brokers Association, and the California Association of Business Brokers. He maintains numerous certifications as a mergers and acquisitions advisor/intermediary and business broker. He received his MBA degree from San Francisco State University and his BA from the University of Alaska.

Phil has been honored with awards for exceptional community service for his extensive work with organizations such as the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, the Alameda Food Bank, the San Francisco Foundation, various Chambers of Commerce, and the Rotary Clubs of Alameda, and Oakland, CA.

Previously, he served as a U.S. Navy SEAL. He lives with his wife in Alameda, CA, and enjoys flying, scuba diving, and long-distance bicycle touring.
